Denominations are antithetical to Christianity. Christ is not divided. Only those who falsely claim they represent him are divided, whether they are known by a label or not. They cannot be connected with a cause having to do with the world, either political or anti-political. Jesus was not a reformer nor a protester. He said his true followers were no part of the world and represented a heavenly government, known as the Kingdom. There have been many zealots who have campaigned under the veneer of Christianity. But it is not Christianity that they promote. It is themselves or a false kingdom. _________________ reslight.net/forum - bibletoday.com- Divineplan.org - mostholyfaith.com - |

You are right, christianity should not have denominations. What they are doing is is emphasizing some parts of Scriptures. Christians should follow all of Jesus' techings and commandments. Jesus says if you love Him keep His commandments. |

The operative word is "political," which means taking sides in things that Christians are to be no part of, that false Christians have become part of. Jesus was no reformer. _________________ reslight.net/forum - bibletoday.com- Divineplan.org - mostholyfaith.com - |

Christians should take side with God which means following Jesus' teachings. |
