Jesus is telling us if we follow Him we will be persecuted.
Persecution has been on going since Jesus times. Satan's most powerful and effective weapons are harlfhearted Christians. The churches are training their people to persectute faithful servants, it seems.
How are they doing it? Take a look at the way they treat their opposers. They do their best to keep their opposers mouth shut. They ridicule, belittle, harras, stalk, heckle, humiliate and so on.
When I took trip to Okinawa, the churches I asked to give me New Testament to hand out to local people, they refused to cooperate because I expressed I am not trinitarian.
When you refuse to cooperate to spread Jesus just because they don't agree with your doctrine is nothing but persecution and working against God.
When I posted this thread in the forums, I got gang attacked and they were making all kinds of excuses and humiliated me as usual.
Persecution takes many kind of forms. One is done in christian forums. I have been expressing my findings and most of the times being ridiculed, humiliated, namecalled etc... They seem to think it is ok for them to do such despicable behavior because they are backed up by moderators and majority. When this happens almost no one speaks against such a riot. It is just amazing.
