While nobody can say with certainty that Jesus has returned at sometime in the past....1874 BS's or 1914 JW's, my personal opinion is that His return is yet future.
As we know, the wickedness is getting worse, not better.
Satan is very busy as recorded at 1Pet.5;8,9;
8 "Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
9Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings."
Back to Jesus return, by properly understanding the wording of the sign that Jesus gave His disciples, this gives us a clue.
In both Matt.24;1-28, & Mark 13;1-23, Jesus gives what is accepted as the composite sign, however, most religious systems say this happens "during" Christ's return.
I believe that this is not correct, because the next few verses in each account says that "the sign" happens BEFORE Christs return.
Matt.24;29-31;29;
29“Immediately after the distress of those days the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’
30“At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.
31And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other."
Mark 13;24-27;
24 "But in those days, following that distress, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light;
25 the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’
26“At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
27And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens."
Notice that Jesus says in Matt. 24;29; "Immediately after the distress of those days." And Mark 13;24; "But in those days, following that distress,"
I understand this to mean that All these things (the sign) are to happen prior to His return, & they are still happening NOW.
We still have the saints with us also. This is another study in itself, when the saints will be raised to heavenly life.

Many trinitarian Christians believe Jesus is reigning this world right now too.
It is just absurd to me becasue Jesus is prince of peace and He will not allow any wickedness in His kingdom. And as we can see clearly, the wickedness of this world is increasing rapidly.

I basically agree with most of what you said in the link you supplied.
I certainly agree that Jesus was reigning in Kingdom power from the time of His resurrection back to life in heaven, at the right hand of God.
I also agree that Jesus was with ALL true followers from the outpouring of the HS at Pentecost. However, I believe that He will not turn His attention toward the earth in general until His Parousia.
However, His Parousia or second presence, does not appear to occur until just prior to His binding & abyssing of Satan & the demons. Following that event, He will establish Kingdom Rule on earth.
The scriptures that I quoted in my first post on this thread suggest to me, that the dead "saints," will be resurrected, & the living "saints," will be changed in the twinkling of an eye, & will not sleep in death. (1Cor.15;52)
This I believe will happen at Jesus return, & before Satan's binding.
I will put this a little clearer;
1. Jesus returns & gathers ALL the saints to Himself in heaven.(spirit bodies)
2. Satan is bound & abyssed & his system is removed by Christ.
3. The earthly phase of the Kingdom is established.
4. Sometime following these events, the 'general' resurrection will begin.
Can we have a general discussion about these events?
