Jesus' comandments are not burdensome. Yet Christian communities are treating them as if it is a curse.

Quote:
1 John 5:3-4 (New International Version)
3This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

This world is full of wicked and evil things. If we respect His teachings and strive to obey them what kind of world it will be?

Our marriages will be a blessing with much less divorce, the kids will not follow peer pressure. Society will be much less violent and a safe place to live.

Jesus is our loving Father, He is only giving us guidance how to live decently, lovingly and kindly toward others. We inherited sinful nature since Adam's time; we are born selfish. It is arrogant to think we know how to be loving and kind without His teachings. He is the perfect Teacher of life.

We should appreciate His teachings instead of rebelling like spoiled teen- agers. His teachings are all in His gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

have you observed that many things Jesus said and did, were prophecised before ?

also His coming has this purpose :
17. "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
18. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

As we can see , at fisrt His coming /as man/ Jesus did not fulfilled all prophecies
Many of them remained for to be accomplished at His second coming ,
as an apostle said
Acts 3:
20. and that he may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus.
21. He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything,
as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.

Once I told here that Jesus was always present , and I asked "what does his second coming means ?
Here is the answer :
it means the time when /accordingly with Father's will/ Jesus Christ will work to fulfill everything that was prophecised about/concerning earth .
in fact , He comes with the purpose of bringing the Kingdom on earth.
In prophets it is said that this Kingdom will be given to the "prople of saints/of the Most Holy One"
see Daniel 7:21,22; 26,27.

What do you say , Joyfull , who is that people today ?

Eph 1:11 - NIV "In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession—to the praise of his glory."

Inheritance is guaranteed if we are faithful to Him until the end.

I always consider that the scripture gives the answer .
If quoting from a scripture is not enough ,
then now I will ask help from ap. Peter to tell us
1 Peter 2:
9. But ye are
-- a chosen generation,
-- a royal priesthood,
-- an holy nation,
-- a peculiar people;
... that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

So, the "people of saints" God speaks through Daniel in chapt.7 is exactly this people Peter is speaking about

here is neded a little specification : the people Peter is speaking about started with Jesus apostles and continue to exists untill Jesus second coming/presence

while in the prophecy of Daniel it is spoken about those of them who are existing in the latter days and "the end" when Jesus is present and starts ruling over earth .

do my answer make some sense/meaning to you ?

please re-read the second post in this thread

(why don't you read attent the thread ? )

by the way I have posted a very important post regarding
God's Kingdom in Heaven - when ?
have you read it with attention ?
you gave no answer there !
if you meet a witness and he asks you if you believe that Christ is reigning in Heaven from 1914 , what do you answer ?
if you believe that , then you should join them....

I take it or leave it. I don't fight against any prophesy because no one can prove who is right. Only God knows the future and what really Scripture is talking about and past events.
