Matthew 8:11-12 (New International Version)
11I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
Why did Jesus bring this when He was talking about centurion's faith?

The Centurion had an unremarkable faith. He told Jesus, "I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed." Jesus then responded: "Truly I say to you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel." One would think that the religious leaders in Israel would have such a great faith, but they didn't. They were all wrapped up in their pride and pompous ways, praying in public for display.
This centurion was a gentile, the pharasees believed them to be dogs, and they believed that they were (rightly so) heirs of God's Kingdom, where they will be the kings and rulers.
But Jesus told them, "many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
These religious leaders will find themselves outside of God's divine favor. While the gentiles, (east and west) will be included.
