the condemnation of trinitarians which you are observing are more about association than the condemnation of the belief itself. Those who believe in the trinity are 98% those who believe that God condones His people joining nationalistic warfare.
This is blatantly contrary to Christ's teachings.
In the Old Testament, God ordered genocide of the Caananites. This proves that war is not wrong per se, and any further distinction seems arbitrary. Warfare of Israel vs. Caanan was surely nationalistic, if you wish to draw the line there. The commands of the Father cannot possibly be contrary to Christ's teachings. _________________ Socionics - the Analyst!

Hi viper, glad to see you back
In OT, God ordered to His people to destroy the evil ones and nations. We now have evil countries every where. Do you think the US is godly nation? Not! God is not with USA or any other nation.

Jesus says that let dead bury their own dead.
That particular exception may not apply to the United States, but if there is one exception, why shouldn't there be others? The reasoning that all war is wrong, and therefore the United States' war is wrong, is unsound.
Also... was Israel truly a godly nation every time the Lord defended them? The people of Israel were not very godly either. And God was not calling on Israel to rid the Earth of evil - the world was as evil then as it is now.
"Let the dead bury their own dead" does not apply here. This is about killing living people. _________________ Socionics - the Analyst!

Israel was God's representative on the Earth.
The issue is pretty well summed up in 1 Samuel 17:46
"This day the LORD will deliver you up into my hands, and I will strike you down and remove your head from you. And I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel,
God warred against Pagan nations in order to spread His majesty. God did NOT allow His nation to prosper properly when it strayed. In fact, because Saul did not follow one of God's war commands TO THE LETTER, Saul's kingdom was taken from him.
War in the OT was not nationalistic: it was theocratic. When Israel won a war, it was not Israel: it was Jehovah, the God of Israel.
The nations of the earth today do not fit that mold. God's people are to follow the people that God annoints: Israel was not supposed to follow kings that were not annointed.
What does "Christ" mean? It means "annointed": HE is our commander, and the command is given:
"Love your enemies and do good to those who hate you."
"Let the dead bury their own dead: you follow me."
Interpretation: "Let the world deal with it's own issues: you deal with yours. Do you want to follow me?"
