Yes, according to Jesus in Luke 21:5-36.
Jesus wants us to "watch out that you are not deceived."
How do we watch out? By being wholehearted servants of Jesus. This is the only way to protect ourselves from satan's lies and temptations. We have to remember Satan is using everyone who are not protected by Jesus. God will not protect us unless we are truthfully and wholeheartedly serving Jesus.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind.
If God is with us noone can be against us. |

Not true. God has as much power over unbelievers as over believers, and he will protect unbelievers for many reasons: so that they can come to him later, so that they can serve as an example to others, etc. Likewise, Satan does use unbelievers - and even sometimes believers - but God is the wiser, and has everything under control.

Of course God is in control of everything. But you are forgetting that God is giving satan charge of this world. |

I am indeed. Thank you for reminding me. However, I thought it was not God but Adam (and Eve) who handed the world over to Satan.
God must sometimes protect those who are not serving Jesus - otherwise no one would ever be saved.

No, Adam has no such power.
