In America, it seems that "judge not" is frequently being abused and misused especially in Christian communities. It's because this country is so focused on popularity that they don't want stir up the phony peace. That's why they have so much lukewarm christianity rampant in this society. Jesus hates lukewarm faith but this country is ignoring many, many of Jesus' teachings and warnings because His teachings are being treated as judgemental. Actions speaks loud in everything that we do.
Matthew 7:1
"Judge not lest you be judged,"
Everyone seems eager to grab hold of this teaching, but forget that the Bible also teaches:
1 Corinthians 5:12
"After all, is it my business to judge outsiders? You are to judge those who are in the community, aren't you?"
The context of "Take the speck out of your brother's eye" is to make sure the judger is not doing what he is judging. Jesus didn't mean for it to be a tool to make people quiet who are trying to encourage God's people to follow His Teachings.

Christians who are truly seeking the truth should come out of organized churches. All organized churches are part of "Babylon the great".
I would like to add that it is not only organized churches. There are tons of Christian community without joinig the organization such as christian forums.
"If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.
Jesus tells us to rebuke when you find someone sinning. Most of us cannot do it because we are not following Jesus' teachings faithfully. And when someone rebukes you, you tell them to judge not. How convenient.
Luke 12:57 "Yes, and why, even of yourselves, do you not judge what is right?
John 7:24 Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."
John 5:30 I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.
1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?
There are many more scriptures telling the believer to judge with a righteous judgment than the one that says judge not lest you be judged.
Quote:
Mt 16
23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."
Quote:
Matthew 10
16 "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
Quote:
2 Timothy 4
1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at* His appearing and His kingdom:
2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;
4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables
