Matthew 3:11 (New International Version)

11"I baptize you with[a] water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

It seems that John the baptist is saying there is two baptisms for Jesus followers. One is for repentance and the other one comes from Jesus when we decide to give our lives for Jesus and work for Him until the end.

Joyful, If you look at the whole picture rather taking something out of context to prove your point of view. I am not trying to belittle you as for as knowledge that you might have but you need to get the context right.

Who is speaking in the verse that you quoted? John the Baptist was the speaker..."I baptize you with water for repentance." Then John spoke of Jesus the Messiah/Christ, what the Christ would be baptizing with:
1) the Holy Spirit and 2) with fire

The two baptisms you mention for his followers were 1) baptism of repentance and 2) baptism of Holy Spirit what about the baptism of fire?

I'm not saying you are wrong but you need to pay close attentions to details, sister. Just remember what apostle Paul said in 1 Timothy 4:16 "Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you."

I always reason the Scripture with whole context of the Bible.

Yes?

Fire , I believe it is Jesus' judgment.

I always take heed everything I do and say. I am not saying I am perfect either.
