It has been in my heart heavily that Jesus' servants in the military. Jesus' main message is that His followers to live peacefully and not to get involved with any kind of violent or blood shedding practice. We are misrepresenting Him if we engage in wars because He is prince of peace. His servants should not get involving misrepresenting Jesus to the world. We are anti-Christ if we misrepresent Jesus.
Jesus will judge all of us including His followers when the time comes, but He wants all His followers to be pacifist in the meantime..

27But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
28Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
29And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.
30Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
31And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
32For if ye love them which love you what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 33And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
34And if ye to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

II Corinthians 10:3,4

The military practice does not harmonoze with this passage, therefore it is sin to approve and join the military for Jesus' followers.

Beginning in 1917, the USA only recognized Quakers, Mennonites and Church of the Brethren as pacifist churches for conscientious objection purposes. That was later expanded to include 7th Day Adventists, some Pentecostal churches and a few other small organizations; no major churches were ever included.
Re conscientious objector rules: “historic militant churches, such as Catholic, Lutheran, Episcopalian, Methodist” vs “historic peace churches such as Quaker, Mennonite, Friends and Molokans”.
