If I may interject here for a moment.

One of the setbacks of being a former JW is that anything with rules is viewed with suspect. We realize that love is a command from the Lord, we also realize that Worshiping in spirit and Truth is also a command.

Your worshiping in spirit and truth is the one your are out of line with Jesus. You were pointed out about it and what did you do? All you did was push Russell's teachings and make excuses one after another.

Quote:

One merely needs to look at the epistles of Paul to see this. Was he unloving when he exposed certain ones in his day? He was pretty vicious, perhaps even self-righteous.

So you imitate what you think is vicious and self-righteous? Where is your humility? You are not Apostle Paul who was legitimately appointed by Jesus.

Quote:
:
Often the problem (and this is a problem among the Bible Students) is that the pendulum swings from one extreme to the other. From "let's just love one another" to "Truth is of the utmost." I believe we need both Truth and Love. One does not supercede the other. I can have all the love in the world, but if it's not based on a proper understanding of God's word, it's worseless in my book.

You are not showing love whatsoever when it comes to your opposers. Often times you respond with sarcasm and excuses. It is no excuse as Christian leaders. Christian leaders should have no flaws, they should have humility to apologize when they goof up.

You don't consider Biblical truth, just pushing Russell's teachings. You are no different from any other organizations the way you practice your faith.

That's why Jesus says to look for the fruit. Your fruit is rotten. I have been showing you many of your fruit over and over, you simply brush off with arrogant remarks such as "you are just taking a bath" or start personal attacks of protester and so on...

Quote:
:
Now .... let's talk about this forum. Have any of you pointing the finger at us now, ever administrated or owned a forum?

Yes, I own one.

Quote:
:
You see, when you start a forum, you have an idea, a vision, it's usually your own vision, you may have others who share your vision, but for the most part, you have to set up standards. I don't want to start a website about comic books and then have people come in here and tell me "no, let's talk about knitting and stamp collecting".

My rules are all according to Jesus' teachings. I don't just make up bulling rules of my own. This forum belongs to my Master.

Quote:
:
Fact of the matter is ANY forum has rules, if they didn't there would be complete chaos. In case you didn't notice, the title of this forum is BIBLE STUDENTS, not CHRISTENDOM, or EX JWS. It's BIBLE STUDENTS.

You see now? You are excluding other brethren. You ought to consider all Christians as your brethren and treat them as such. You are lacking in Spirit of Jesus' follower.

Quote:
:
Is it wrong for us (Bible Students) to control how this forum flows? Have we no say? If wer let this forum just go into any directions, then we lose control, if we take control it's viewed as legalism.

Again, you are continually talking with spirit of elitism which is a big no no because it is against Jesus' teaching of humility.

Quote:
:
We want discussions, we love talking about God's Word and what we feel is the Truth of God's Plan. Is it too much of us to ask that when you come into our home, that you respect us, and not call us names and throw insult to our face?

When you are not in line with Jesus, you will have the same problems continually when posters realize something is wrong. Of course you will take it negatively because you are lacking in basics of Jesus' teachings. When you are so prideful, you will not admit when you are wrong, period.

Quote:
:
You do that and expect us to be all loving, turn the other cheek and say "thank you can I have another"? Well I only have two cheeks, four if you lan on kicking us too, after that ... all gloves are off.

Again, because you are so prideful with your own admission (you admitted that nothing is wrong with elitism and among other things), you will keep bullying your way and ostracize everyone who opposes you.

Quote:
:
I think we've been pretty tolerant here. It boils down to this and I think you'll agree ... if you want respect, you have to give it in return. Not that we plan on disrepecting any of you if you don't, because should not return evil for evil.

RR, you already proved you are operating your faith with arrogance, there is not going to be any improvement in your practice of anything as far as walking with Jesus, because without humility you will not go into His kingdom. I hope you guys repent of your wrongful attitude if you are serious about your faith.

Humility is the utmost important principle for Jesus' followers.

Hitomi, simple servant of Jesus

I was only protesting as Jesus' servant because you were continually behaving with un-chrisitan manner. Because of my continual protesting I got many to notice your unbibical behavior also. I succeeded getting people's attention.

Quote:
Joyful was wrong in why she was here and how she acted. If she came to my house and acted the way she did here on this fourm I would ask her to leave. Same here. I do not allow people to come to my house and act unkind to my family, and the scriptures show that love has to be tempered with justice.

This is not your house, and you are using Jesus' name. This is in public. I have right to defend Jesus' teachings. You continually forget that everything belongs to God, including your forum.

Quote:
There are many here that come with motives that are wrong, in time they are shown and must be dealt with.

Well, because you are not practicing biblically, you will continually get someone like me to come after your forum. I am not shy like most and that's my gift that God is using me.

Quote:
By the way, I DO NOT disavow the use of Bro Russell. I am someone that have been GREATLY blessed by his wittings, and find his insights most helpful. I have never found a set of thoughts on the scriptures that even come close. So cdyanco, I do not disavow his name.

It is perfectly ok to study Russell's teachings but you are not Jesus' followers if you place him higher than Jesus. You are rebuking everyone who does not agree with your opinions and practices because you are following Russell's teachings first. For example, consecration and baptism.

Anyway, your utmost flaw is your prideful practice. You judged me as unfit for consecration and baptism. You are telling everyone, it is ok not to be consecrated. I will not let you forget that.

Who is not well versed? Don't be so puffed up.

They say the biggest room is the room for improvement, so yes, that is something all Christians should be striving for ... to improve, and fashion themselves unto Christ. Not an easy task by any means.

When you are so puffed up you will not improve much.

However, there are those who come here under pretense, in hopes of "exposing" us. Believing we put Russell's volumes above the Bible or that we talk down to people.

I exposed your rotten fruit which I am commanded to do. The Scripture says "expose the fruitless deeds of darkness" Ephesians 5:11..

All I'm saying is if you come here to do anything BUT dialogue, then you've come to the wrong place. Just be yourself and stop pretending.

No one here is just dialogging. Stop being so arrogant insinuating you are so well versed and your opposers are not. Marty is only being humble. You should learn from him.

Look who is talking, you have no shame in your arrogance, RR. I can hear you say "I am so well-versed that no one is above me".

Now broken starting to talk like RR because he is mod now. they are bulling around everyone who are opposing them, and cdy is the only one who are talking straight to them.

I thought marty was starting to be brave but he is backing down. It seems that everyone is afraid of being banned. I just don't get it.

RR is waving around his authority as owner of his forum, he is shameless and all BS is cooperating with his bulling behavior.

Yes - but she is selective in what she cuts from here. Nothing to put her in a bad light, or us in a good light. Very interesting.

WV,

Yes, I am very selective because I want my point very clear. I don't want clutter my threads with all junk.

You guys have been avoiding and trying your best to be vague about the point your opposers are saying.

It is good that you cannot delete and ban me in my own forum. Your opposers has disadvantage in your forum because you will threaten them with banning and you will ban them if they tell the whole truth what they think of your operation.

I haven't ban anyone because what they say about me. I banned one poster recently because she was here only to bash Russell and nothing else. I doubt that if it was female either. She called me hypocrite because I was trying to learn what Russell has to say, and made it clear about it.

My conversation with her is all here somewhere. I did not delete any of them.

Wow ... there must be two forums here because I just don't see what you're talking about Jacob!

RR

I must admit that Jacob is wasting his time trying to communicate with them but they are simply brushing him off.

I am sure Jacob is rewarded for his endeavor of speaking up against this kind of unchristian and insincere manner.

They sure are doing their best to insult and humiliate jacob and others who don't agree with their practice.

This kind of method and practice is always used in organized churches.

She was accusing me of not worshipping Jesus only and studying the Bible instead of Russell's teachings. Now she should understand I was not following Russell. I was only studying what he has to say about prophesy. I told her the same thing over and over but she did not take my word for it.

Many know that the BS have replaced Jesus with Russel and the JWs replaced Jesus with the GB. Jesus does not need a mediator.

Well, I did not know that. I just don't understand people who are reading the Bible worship anyone else but God and Jesus. They even replace Jesus' teachings with their own theologies. I am just flabbergasted.

I was really interested studying their "divine plan" but since I discovered their outrageous practice of consecration and baptism, I lost interest all together.

Many religious people have had faults that have caused people to lose faith in God, the Bible and Christ altogether. It's called throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Rolling Eyes

I am not interested in studying Russell any more but I certainly have faith in God and have never and will not abandon Him whatsoever. My faith in God and Jesus is unshakable no matter what religious people do to me. It is just sad to find out mainstream BS are just as evil as JW and trinitarian churches.

I believe my experiance with BS is warning from God that not to have anything to do with them. After all, Scripture says not to have anything to do with evil deeds of darkness.

1Cor 11:17-19 "In the following directives I have no praise for you, for your meetings do more harm than good. In the first place, I hear that when you come together as a church, there are divisions among you, and to some extent I believe it. No doubt there have to be differences among you to show which of you have God's approval."

Yes, and in this case the difference is our view of what a good Christian attitude should be. Like you just showed, Paul teaches us that some divisions are good because they show us who we should not be using as teachers.

They don't admit when they do wrong. This is exact characteristic of organization. They also distort the Bible. there are so many evil things going on in mainstream BS. They are not of God and Jesus.

If you want to pursue Russell go ahead, but I will not do it. I am running the race and I will not waste my time with wrongful organization.

BTW, they emphasize they are not organization but they sure talk and act like it. Their fruits are showing they are organization like the rest of the nominal churches.
