Was quoting John 4:23-But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24-God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Ignored by the majority of 'Christians'!

forgive me for butting in.
Here we are three different christians; one is active in WTS, one is ex-WTS and I don't agree with either of you.
Rus is fighting against mainly WTS, I believe all organized churches are evil (most trinitarians both Catholics and protestants and WTS).

*laughs* So, JW advocates worship "in truth", while all of us are here, discussing what exactly "the truth" is. Therefore, all of us who do not belong to the WTS can't possibly be worshipping right.
Just a thought and some simple logic.

That WAS hilarious!
I do NOT "defend the WTBS". I defend what I know as biblical truth!
Here's one: When you die, you........DIE! (Gasp!) You STOP LIVING! There is no 'Immortal Soul' floating to heaven, hellfire, Purgatory, limbo, Nirvana, or reincarnation!
This was made clear by Christ who said there would be a Day when the Dead would be Ressurected & Judged (Revelation says the same thing).
Now if your faith is placed in Mo hammed, Joeseph Smith, Popes or Pastors- you will passionately disagree!

but Jesus gives us the offer of life after death if we follow Him, you agree with that right?

yes, it is just confusing with your last statement saying dead is dead. God still gives us hope after death.

if people are putting their faith in men, they need to be encouraged to read the Bible more, especially New Testament. That is where I learned we need to be extra careful of all religious leaders, Jesus keeps repeating that warning, which was a surprise to me when I started reading the Bible 6 years ago. The best view of christianity is Bible reading/study, which is very lacking among many professing christians. |

theMadJW, were you trying to take a shot at our title up here, that says "YHWH is great, Jesus is worthy, Sharing Truth?" because that what it seemed like to me. that title came from the idea of Jesus being asked, "what is truth?" and Jesus says "I am the way, the truth," are you suggesting we change it?
my observation is we can't just throw out bible verses without a real explanation about what it has to do with anything. |

Mad: Yes & No; he did offer life- yet said the resurrection would take place in the FUTURE, at an appointed time!

New Testament is so easy to understand God's purpose and our mission for the Lord. Jesus did perfect job for His followers to understand YHWH and Jesus in the New Testament. New Testament is milk part for His followers and Old Testament is the meat part, IMHO.
Sad thing is that most Christians are not even passing the milk part and putting so much time trying to understand the Old Testament. It is no wonder how chaotic the christian community is. |

But JWs faith is place in the "annointed ones". They make all decisions for you lay people. You guys have no personal walk with Jesus.
