What is this talking about? what kind of bad report? _________________ YHWH is my God and Jesus is my Lord
The account does not say what the specific deeds of his brothers were. It could be they left the flocks and went to do something else leaving the family's interests in danger. An account in 1 Sam.2:24 says certain sons went and had immoral relations with women. Here we just don't no, but it was serious enough that Joseph was very worried and went to his father about the matter. It was part of the jealousy that eventually led the 11 brothers to sell Joseph into slavery.
