If you know your Bible, you might think I've branded myself a Pharisee. Please don't think that - I have an active imagination, and this username is something left over from a past fascination with snakes.
I will give most posters the befit of the doubt as to whether they are born again. I believe in the Trinity and the omnipresence of God in both time and space, but the knowledge that is necessary for salvation is much simpler than the sum total of all truth.
I am more interested in the sum total of all truth. But if salvation should come up, I will discuss that as well.
I currently attend a Southern Baptist church. I agree with most (but not all) of their theology. _________________ Socionics - the Analyst!

Well, I've decided to stop by again, but there's been a big ol' change in the interim - I'm an atheist now. To be perfectly clear, that's someone who is of the opinion that God doesn't exist, not someone who hates God.
I've always thought that Psalm 14:1 was about atheists, but reading it now, I realize that it is not. Psalm 14:1 is about fools; it says that all fools are atheists, not that all atheists are fools. _________________ Socionics - the Analyst!

Why did you become an atheist? _________________ YHWH is my God and Jesus is my Lord
